The Heart of Learning and Development for Infants and Toddlers

It is recognized that infants and toddlers take an active role in their own learning and development. This process is enhanced when their efforts are supported by caring, knowledgeable, and involved educarers who work in partnership with parents and family. Participants will gain a better insight into the brain systems and how the processes that govern brain development are being shaped by experiences. Participants also learn the value of sustaining each child in building self-awareness. There are opportunities for participants to explore and develop strategies to facilitate children’s growth and development.
